Profile Cutting

We have 3 types of profiling on offer at Akers Engineering.

Plasma
Gas
Water Jet

All offering different advantages and limitations.

Gas	Good Economy. Moderate Accuracy. Limited to steels. Very thick sections.
Plasma	Good accuracy. Good economy. Ferrous and non ferrous metals.
Water Jet	Highly Acurate. No distortion. Minimum to no post clean up. No heat effected zone. No type of material restrictions.

With the water jet cutter it is important to remember that the economy is considerably less than that of plasma however there will be many other time saving advantages to be considered.

Holes created will be ready to tap.
Clean up will be minimul to unessasary.
Any surface that may have required machining may not require this process depending on the quality required.
